Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park

Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, situated near Mandan, North Dakota, preserves the remnants of a significant military post from the late 19th century and offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into both military history and Native American heritage. The park is named after President Abraham Lincoln, and it is perhaps best known as the former home of the 7th Cavalry Regiment, led by General George Armstrong Custer.
