Space Needle

The Space Needle is an iconic observation tower located in Seattle, Washington, and is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the Pacific Northwest. Built for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle stands at a height of 605 feet (184 meters) and offers breathtaking panoramic views of Seattle's skyline, Elliott Bay, and the surrounding mountains, including Mount Rainier and the Cascade Range.

Visitors to the Space Needle can ride the high-speed elevators to the observation deck, located 520 feet (160 meters) above ground. The observation deck features both indoor and outdoor viewing areas, allowing guests to take in the sights from all angles. On clear days, visitors can see as far as the Olympic Mountains to the west and Mount Baker to the north.

In addition to its observation deck, the Space Needle offers various dining options, including the rotating SkyCity Restaurant, which completes a full rotation every 47 minutes, providing diners with ever-changing views of the city below. The Space Needle also features interactive exhibits and a gift shop where visitors can purchase souvenirs to commemorate their visit.
